The science and philosophy of Harmonization

What is Harmonology ?

Many years ago, when I set out on my journey to a better understanding of Universal laws and principles in general and health and healing in particular, I became aware of the fact that HARMONY IS HEALTH and disharmony IS disease.

The entire created, observable and physical Universe can be viewed as a giant harmonic oscillator, where energies which constitute matter are vibrating in unison with their 'pre-physical' (Rupert Sheldrake may call it 'morphogenic') blue print. We have to realize that scientists, for example, do not invent new laws but rather become aware of the laws which predate the creative process. Everything that can be known was known already before time and space came into being. Time and space 'behave' in accordance with  'pre-physical' laws and principles.

All matter is but vibrating energy we have been told since times immemorial. The old teachings (mystical, religious) were telling us that God spoke the 'word' (vibration) and the Universe was created. Modern teachings (science) speak about the 'big bang' (i.e. noise or vibration) and that this big noise event created the material Universe. Both, science and religion are telling us basically the same thing, i.e. that all matter is but vibrating energy (E=mc2) !

The theory of random electro dynamics is trying to explain why an electron can remain on its orbit around the nucleus of an atom and not crash into it, for example. As a part of quantum mechanics it postulates that 'an electron can remain on its orbit around the nucleus of an atom only because it is a harmonic oscillator, picking up energy from the surrounding zero point energy ' ( vacuum, aether or whatever name people call IT - THAT which I call 'pre-physical' energy) .

People could be viewed as harmonic oscillators as well. The more we are in harmony within ourselves (body, mind and soul) the more will we be in harmonic resonance with the Universe, the entire Universe, the created as well as the uncreated.

Singular, pre-physical energy condenses into the duality of matter, forming electrons and protons, negative and positive, male and female and resulting from that is health and disease, happiness and unhappiness, good and evil and so on. Please be aware that there is nothing 'wrong' with an electron or 'right' with a proton. They simply are . So are men and women, health and disease, happiness and unhappiness and so on.

Since the mind oscillates in a created Universe between good and evil, saint and murderer, positive and negative, it puts certain preferences on observable things. That is all. The more 'enlightened' (being able to 'see' into the pre-physical light which contains all knowledge) we become the less we will become involved in opposites. We simply observe and accept the wild swing of the pendulum in a material Universe depending upon opposites.

Theories are pretty useless unless they have a certain practicality, unless they are helpful in our daily struggle. We should look at the opposites and realize that nobody makes us this or that , happy or unhappy, healthy or unhealthy, successful or a failure, but that it is entirely our own choice.

Relax, detach, become uninvolved - be in the world, as Jesus says, but not of the world.
The physical Universe will always be the same dual Universe offering choices. Choose well.

For us 'material' beings with a 'material' mind it is often difficult to see that matter is but vibrating energy - after all it IS so solid for us. We can touch 'things' , smell them, eat them - run into them and hurt ourselves. Still, the fact remains, matter is vibrating energy and if that matter vibrates in harmony, we are happy and healthy - but if it is in disharmony we are unhappy and sick.

And we are beginning to see and realize that more and more. Physicists the world over and some 30.000 medical practitioners at least in Germany (1988 figures) subscribe to the fact that 'all life processes are determined by electromagnetic phenomena'. And so they are using electromagnetic instruments to determine the degree of harmony or disharmony and to compare, for example, the vibrations of a remedy with those coming, say, from your diseased liver. If the remedy vibrations bring the reading of your liver back to 'normal' (a fixed and known standard for a healthy liver) then the remedy is the correct remedy - if not - don't waste your time and money.

Harmonology, the science and philosophy of harmonization concerns itself with all that. Harmonies and disharmonies and what causes disharmonious conditions and how to overcome them. Not only in human beings, but in their environment as well. How can you expect to live a happy and healthy (harmonious) life in a sick (disharmonious) environment ?

We should be careful not to get sucked in by a totally materialistic world view, since there must be always balance and harmony in body, mind and soul. 'Man does not live of bread alone', is a saying which makes us aware that we have a spiritual, non-material and singular nature as well.

Harmonology is helping to achieve greater balance and harmony by bringing East and West, Science and Religion, mind and heart together again - in harmony.

And one last thing: most religious teachings in this world are telling us that GOD IS LIGHT. Obviously NOT the light as we can see it with our 'material' eyes. Photons are the carriers of light. The potential for light as an electromagnetic wave. Similar to water which is the potential or the medium for waves. In order to 'observe' waves in both instances we need some 'action'. Someone has to throw the stone to 'create' waves. Can you see ?? I believe that we are living in an ocean of photons. Of light potential. And that hence all 'matter' consists of that potential for light. Electrons are the 'stones' creating 'waves' in this 'ocean of light potential' (electromagnetic radiation).

Sai Baba (of whom millions of people believe he is an 'incarnation' of GOD) says: 'you are like the drop of an ocean. Momentarily separated but of the same essence.' He also says that GOD is man and man is GOD. If we would call the 'pre-physical light potential' GOD, then EVERYTHING 'material' consists of GOD !

Separation is created by our mind. When we say: 'can you see?' we do not just say: 'do you understand me ?' What we are referring to is a comprehension which transcends the level of the mind. What we are really saying is:' can you follow me into the pre-physical light potential which contains all truth and knowledge - and can you see that same universal truth and knowledge which is independent of mind and which was before matter was and still will be the same once matter has gone'.
